Description |
Two glass bottles (brown to delay light deterioration) from about 1890 were used to administer an inhalation anesthetic via a mask. The stopper of the larger bottle turned to allow chloroform to drip onto a cloth mask. The small round flask with the metal top was used for ether, which dripped out after removal of the small cap from the top. |
